Gordon Simpson – PGA Professional & General Manager
Gordon joined Hilton Park in June 2006 as our first General Manager. Having spent 11 years as Head Professional and Director of Golf at Newmachar Golf Club and seven years as an assistant at Deeside Golf Club prior to that he felt the time was right to move from Aberdeen to further his career. During his 16 years as a PGA Professional, he has gained vast experience in all aspects of the golf industry however he has decided to concentrate on the management side of the industry although he does still hope to compete in some events in the coming years.
David Watt – Head PGA Professional
David is the Head PGA Professional at Hilton Park having joined the club after spending 4 years at Kings Acre Golf Academy in Edinburgh. Previous to this he studied Engineering at Dundee University while being part of the R & A golf scholarship programme. During his time at Kings Acre, David had a valuable insight into the workings and methods of a top instructor while assisting Claude Harmon III. This experience propelled him on to gaining top marks in the PGA swing theory examinations and at the beginning of 2008 David was awarded a Titleist / Footjoy scholarship for outstanding performance in the PGA degree programme. His results placed him as the number 1 Assistant Professional in Scotland and in the top 12 in the UK.
At Hilton Park David is in charge of running the highly rated and well stocked Professional shop while providing a comprehensive teaching programme for both members and visitors alike. During the season he represents Hilton Park playing on the highly competitive Tartan Tour.

David Snodgrass – Assistant Professional
David joined the Professional team at Hilton Park in the summer of 2007 and is about to embark on the 3 year PGA Training Programme. He has been a very active participant on the local amateur scene with various successes including the Milngavie junior club championship. Always a friendly face in the shop, David will be able to assist you with all your golfing requirements.
