Gordon Simpson – Head PGA Professional & General Manager

Gordon joined Hilton Park in June 2006 as our first General Manager. Having spent 11 years as Head Professional and Director of Golf at Newmachar Golf Club and seven years as an assistant at Deeside Golf Club prior to that he felt the time was right to move from Aberdeen to further his career. During his 16 years as a PGA Professional, he has gained vast experience in all aspects of the golf industry however he has decided to concentrate on the management side of the industry although he does still hope to compete in some events in the coming years.

David Snodgrass – Assistant PGA Professional

David joined the Professional team in July 2007 and started his PGA training in October 2008. In July 2011 he completed his PGA Foundation Degree and is currently waiting on election to full PGA Membership. Passing the PGA Degree has given David qualification in Golf Coaching, Business Management, Club Repairs, Sports Science and Custom Fitting. His biggest success during his training was gaining distinctions in his final coaching exams. He enjoys playing on the Scottish Regions Tartan Tour as much as possible and when he can. David’s main role is to manage the Pro Shop while providing individual and group lessons. He enjoys chatting to members about their golf and is able to help you with any of your golfing needs.

Kirstin Scott – Trainee PGA Professional

Kirstin has been working part time in the Professional Shop since the summer of 2008. In 2011 she was offered the chance to join full time and will begin her PGA training in October 2012. Kirstin won the West of Scotland Ladies Championship in 2007 and is a former D & A County Junior Champion. She studied at Elmwood College in Cupar during 2010 – 2011 and has a qualification in HNC Golf Facility Management. Excited to start her PGA training she is able to assist with all your golfing requirements.
